10 New Hot Cross Bun Flavours To Try

Hot cross buns are a staple food item for this time of year, toasted and slathered with butter, but if you want something a little more exciting than the classic, look no further.

While I am never one to turn down a classic hot cross bun, and the fruity mix of cinnamon, spice and sultanas in a soft, doughy bun is a true thing of beauty, recently I’ve spotted several alternative versions to try.

Before you embark on your hot cross bun baking session, remember to put aside a lot of time. It takes two proving stages to make them and it’s ideally the perfect activity for a long Sunday when the cold weather and rain has kept you quarantined inside.

If you’ve got a better version, please share it in the comment section and let me know which one your favourite is.
